Copper Rain chains....adding Perfection to your home
Rain chains are a beautiful alternate to a traditional unattractive gutter downspout. In place of a plastic downspout a beautiful copper rain chain can be easily installed. Our Rain chains come equipped with a gutter attachment hook called “triangular hanger”. This hanger is designed to sit in the rain gutter over the drain hole where the downspout was and helps direct the flow of water into the rain chains.
The sound of water cascading from cup to cup is melodious to the ears and senses...it creates a soothing "Zen" like sound.
Our copper rain chains come in a variety of shapes and sizes and draw inspiration from nature's flora...it could be in the form of a link or in a beautiful floral cup form but the purpose stays the same....it transports water. Rain water flows down the gutter into the rain chain and moves from cup to cup till it reaches the bottom where it can be collected into a barrel for water harvesting OR a beautiful water feature can be made by placing our copper hammered basin with pebbles at the bottom.
Copper rain chains originated in Japan many centuries ago but have been modified to suit any home style...be it a traditional or contemporary home. Rain chains are a functional piece of art and enhance the beauty of a home. With constant use the copper turns into a beautiful verdigris color which accentuates the beauty of a rain chain.
