Black/White speaker wires on Vox Amp - Positive or Negative?
I have a Vox AD50VT guitar amp. I was playing with my friend the other night and he (drunkenly) sat on the amp where the cable goes in and busted the end of the cable into the input jack. I had to take it apart to fish the little metal piece out, and, in doing so, I had to disconnect the speaker wires. I failed, however, to take note of which wire went to which terminal. So now I've got a black wire and a white wire to connect, but I don't know which wire is positive and which is negative. And I don't really want to take the amp apart any further to look at the other end of each wire. Does anybody know the standard speaker wiring configuration for guitar amps like this?
Wire with black line is Negative.
